Your Massage Therapist: David Silvia

Massage found me through a lifetime of movement, service, and caring for others.
I’m a graduate of the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, earned my bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill, and I speak English and Spanish. Outside the treatment room, you’ll usually find me hiking Western North Carolina’s trails, participating in sports, or making art.
Before becoming a licensed massage therapist, I spent nearly a decade working in the service industry. Long hours on my feet, fast-paced environments, and the physical demands of hospitality taught me firsthand what it feels like to live with stress, fatigue, and persistent muscle pain.
Those experiences also shaped the way I care for people today. I’ve always connected with others through acts of service and meaningful touch. Massage became a natural way to combine those values with a lifelong interest in health, movement, and helping people feel their best.
